Where to stay when traveling to the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland?
Anyone who plans to travel to Ireland has Cliffs of Moher on their bucket list, I'm sure it's on your list too. With a rich history of geology and earth transformation, it is a must-visit in Ireland.
But where to stay when visiting the Cliffs of Moher? You can find a few bed & breakfasts near the place that are of great deal. But there is another place near the Cliffs of Moher that is often missed out.
About 15-minutes drive away south of the cliffs is a small town called Lahinch. The place is famous for its beautiful beach, great location, golf, and water sports, especially surfing.
I stayed at the Lahinch Coast Hotel for one night and it was a good experience. I booked a twin bedroom for about €185 per night (excluding breakfast) which was a good deal compared to other B&Bs available at that moment. The prices depend on the month, the summer season being the busiest. The hotel is next to the beach so it was convenient for me to go for a walk at night and enjoy the peace at the beach, listening to the roaring Atlantic sea.
